Elac IW 1130 & 1230 on-wall Speaker Cabinet
The solid wooden frame of the On-Wall cabinet is used to mount an ELAC In-Wall loudspeaker (IW 1130 or IW 1230) to the wall resulting an On-Wall loudspeaker with a total depth of 120 mm. This refers especially to thin walls (thickness less than approx. 100 mm) or to massive reinforced concrete walls.
The On-Wall frame can be screwed or simply be hung on the wall, either in vertical or horizontal alignment. Silicone rubber feet sticked onto the rear baffle of the On-Wall frame avoid sound transmission through the room wall into the neighbour room.
Mounting an ELAC In-Wall loudspeaker to the On-Wall frame will be done in the same way like integrating it into a solid room wall.
