600Hz technology lets you view superb full-HD motion and still images with 1080 lines of resolution. For even greater clarity with motion images, Panasonic uses its own unique image-analysis technology. This technology converts the motion in each scene into data, then optimises the frame to display fast-action scenes in full-HD resolution. And each frame is practically displayed for a shorter length of time than in previous systems, to reduce after effects. |

New VIERA models incorporate an improved panel production process and the new Real Black Drive system. A pre-discharge control system, the Real Black Drive system combines with NeoPDP technology to achieve next-generation black reproduction. When you're watching movies, VIERA renders images just the way the director intended, even in scenes where it's difficult to achieve a proper balance of light and dark. |

THX reproduces movie images exactly as the movie's creators intended them. In the early 1980's, Lucasfilm, established the THX Standard to stipulate the audio and video quality criteria for cinema environments. The overall aim was to improve the experience of cinema-goers and faithfully recreate the audio and visual ambience that film makers intended. VIERA meets the high standards set by the THX Certified Display Program. |

| View breathtaking images with rich, vivid colours from anywhere in the room. Because plasma TVs are self-illuminating, images look beautiful from any angle. Black areas do not fade, and colours look virtually the same no matter where you sit. * Measured using an index for evaluating colour viewing angle developed by the Advanced PDP Development Centre Corporation (APDC). This ensures that you will enjoy exceptional viewing quality even in the largest living rooms. |

Wireless Unit Usage Notes
|
• This unit is for use in specific markets only. The ability to use this unit depends on the regulations of each country. Please check the date status for product availability.
• Do not use this unit in medical facilities, as it may cause operating errors in medical equipment.
• The wireless communication used by this unit may be influenced by factors such as ambient conditions, obstacles, the installation environment, and the distance between equipment. These factors may either distort or interrupt images and sounds, slow down operation response, or disable operation entirely.
• Communication range: When the transmitter is located directly in front of and facing at the receiver, the communication range is approximately 10 meters. If the front surfaces of the transmitter and receiver are positioned at an angle to each other, or if an obstacle exists between the transmitter and receiver, the usable distance may be shorter.
• This unit cannot be used with more than two pairs operating at the same time in the same place. It will not operate properly if more than two pairs are operated within a short range. |

About the WirelessHD standard |
WirelessHD is a millimeter wave wireless AV transmission technology established by the WirelessHD consortium, an organization comprising Broadcom, Intel, LG Electronics,NEC, Panasonic, Samsung Electronics, SiBEAM, Sony, and Toshiba as promoters. WirelessHD has a maximum transmission data rate of approximately 4 Gbps, which enables full-HD uncompressed video and audio signals to be transmitted for distances of more than 10 meters in a room. |

Panasonic products are more friendly to the environment. All VIERA plasma display panels are mercury- and lead-free. This reduces the impact on the environment when recycling or disposing of them in the future. |
| |
| |
 |
These TVs can be used for over 30 years. Using high-quality products longer, and taking care of them, is the first step to environmental conservation. A newly designed phosphor process and rear panel process give the plasma panel a longevity of 100,000 hours. This is more than 30 years of viewing when watched 8 hours a day, before the brightness of the panel decreases to half. |
| |
* This measurement is based on the time taken for the brightness of the panel to reduce to half of its maximum level. The time taken to reach this level may vary depending on the image content and the environment where the TV is used. Image retention and malfunctions are not taken into account. |
| |
 |
When the VIERA power is turned off, the stand-by power of connected devices* is minimised. * For models equipped with Quick Start mode and the newest VIERA Link version. ** The power consumption value differs depending on the disc and the usage conditions. *** This function can be used in systems that include HDAVI Control 4 compatible models. |
|
Power loss is minimised by using VIERA Link control for interconnected devices. * This function can be used in systems that include HDAVI Control 4 compatible models. |

When Eco mode is activated, a photosensor measures the ambient light conditions in the room, and the picture settings are automatically adjusted. As a result, the TV uses less power in dim lighting without any deterioration in image quality. |
