Our Brief
This customer wanted a home cinema solution that integrated with stylish furniture in keeping with existing furnishings and kept as much of the equipment out of site as possible.

Our Solution
It was decided that to keep things discrete, in-ceiling speakers would be utilised for the surround sound (the exception being the centre speaker in the cabinet). The receiver and DVD player were also housed in the AV cabinet. A universal remote and a hidden infra-red receiver enables the system to be operated fully from anywhere in the room, with all the cabinet doors closed.

Equipment Used
Sharp LCD TV
Marantz Receiver
Onkyo DVD Player
Proficient In-Ceiling & In-Wall speakers
MJ Acoustics Subwoofer
Universal Remote Control

Installation 2

Our Brief
The brief from the customer was for a home entertainment room, incorporated into a games room in a loft conversion, where TV and Movies could be viewed at the touch of a button.

Our Solution
This meant fitting a flat screen to the wall for general TV viewing and a drop down screen plus projector for the movies.  In wall speakers, complemented the clean lines of the flush mounted plasma and also doubled up as the speakers discretely hidden by an acoustically transparent screen.   For the gaming area a couple of in-ceiling speakers were added so it took the system sound into another part of the room.  A bespoke cabinet was also constructed to house the equipment, in keeping with the existing décor.

Equipment Used
Panasonic plasma panel
Panasonic Home Cinema projector
Screen Research projection screen
Onkyo Home Network Receiver
Triad InCorner & InWall speakers
Truaudio in-ceiling speakers
SVS subwoofer

Installation 5

Our Brief
This was a brilliant challenge, borne out of a home cinema seating enquiry!  A 50’ loft area to become a cinema room with enough seating for family and friends to enjoy a film or concert (and the popcorn) together.

Our Solution
We were involved in this project at the build stage, so this allowed us to map the cabling, assess where acoustic treatment was necessary and best placement of the furniture. To ensure we achieved that true cinema feel, a top quality screen and projector were a must, along with powerful amplification and soundstage. Also bespoke cabinetry was employed to house all the equipment.

Equipment Used
Pioneer receiver, M&K subwoofer, Marantz remote control
Runco projector, Screen Research projection screen
Lutron lighting control, LaZboy matinee seating
Triad InWall/InCeiling speakers
